Google Tour Builder-Put Your Story on Map (Practice)
1. Go to Google Tour Builder.
2. Sign up for an account or sign in to begin creating a tour.
3. Create a personal timeline of: 1) Your life from birth until the present, 2) your sixth grade year, 3) your seventh grade year, 4) your eighth grade year, 5) your sixth to eighth grade years, 6) or any recent event/experience. (Suggestion: Include important moments, memorable events, celebrations, awards, etc.)
4. If you need help, check out my example tour on Jackie Robinson. I created a Google Tour of his early life.
5. After you have created your tour, obtain a shareable link and place in the column for your class' Google Doc. Make sure that your link is private and can only be viewed by Mr. Reed ([email protected]) and/or Mrs. Fauntleroy ([email protected]) if applicable. (Note: You can also send me an invitation to view your tour using [email protected]. However, my preference is that you allow my [email protected] email address to access you presentation through your private link. This will allow me to view your work from the class Google Doc while I am logged into Gmail through my district email address.)
